TEACHING

My research training and professional experience have prepared me to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in public administration, nonprofit management, and empirical methods. I have taught undergraduate courses as the instructor of record and guest lectured for master's-level courses.

I especially value-creating opportunities for students to apply theoretical knowledge to real organizations through class-community partnerships. Through teaching V326 Communication for Public and Nonprofit Organizations at Indiana, I have partnered with multiple nonprofits with missions to solve inequality, including agencies aiming to end homelessness (Horizon House), improve travel accessibility for people with disabilities (Blue Trunk), and support out-of-school time programs (Indiana Afterschool Network).
